Set in Olot, 47 km from Dalí Museum, Hotel Olot Centre offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. A good central location for exploring Olot. Although central, it was very quiet. The very helpful and cheerful staff made our stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was not included, but was 10Euro per person with all you needed. Use of a kitchen area for own food preparation or eating take-aways was an unexpected facility Very modern and clean with an efficient air conditioning system and eco products. Would stay again.

Mas Pere Pau is located in the natural setting of Bruguers, in Besalú, 5 minutes' drive from the city centre. It offers well-equipped apartments, studios and rooms with mountain and garden views. Simply a fantastic place for a calm weekend in the picturesque location, perfect rest after seing numerous sightseens around. Looking forward to returning for a peaceful relaxing weekend once again.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views. Location was excellent with beautiful grounds. Gemma was an exceptional host. Rooms were very spacious. Everything was spotless.

Located in La Vall de Bianya, 40 km from Girona, Hotel Mas la Ferreria boasts an outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Beautiful location and hotel. Very clean and the hotel grounds were well taken care of. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and dinners!

Set in the Alta Garrotxa countryside, 20 km from Olot, Can Pei is a farm stay with an outdoor pool and bar. This rustic-style stone property has cosy rooms with mountain views. The stay was for my birthday and it was perfect. I wanted nature, quiet and animals, and I got all of that. The masia is beautifully restored keeping its original charm, there are 2 dogs and a cat that are super friendly and Montse is a attentive and welcoming host. We had dinner prepared every evening, with fresh ingredients and a lovely breakfast every morning to give us energy for the day. Montse will explain all the hiking routes and key attractions. Definitely coming back with the first chance we get!

Offering a quiet setting in Maià de Montcal, La Fustana features spacious rooms with terraces. It is housed in a modern building, constructed from recycled materials and wood from local forests. A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Hotel Rural & Spa Mas Prat is located in the mountain town of Castellar de la Muntanya, just outside the Garrotxa Nature Reserve. great food, great views, friendly hosts who love what they are doing

This cozy property occupies two houses from the XV century surrounded by beautiful countryside and situated just behind the city walls of the 'old town' in Santa Pau. Every single detail in the hotel was given great consideration from the way the building had been renovated and decorated to remembering exactly what each guest liked for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for Eva who made every effort to suggest interesting walks and made us a picnic to take with us. She helped make my husband’s birthday special too .

Housed in a 15th-century mansion, El Ventós is set in an estate in Garrotxa National Park. It features a swimming pool, rooms with balconies and free Wi-Fi access throughout. It's been a while since I've given a place the highest rating, but this one deserves it. When we drove up the forested mountain in our car, we did not expect that after a few winding kilometres, we would reach a paradise. Of course, we immediately noticed the beautiful mountain panorama, which looked even nicer in the rays of the setting sun. The greatest thing, however, is the accommodation itself: a historic, renovated building in which every element has been refined to the last detail with a unique sense of aesthetics. A beautiful living room with sofas and a bar, well-preserved rafters, an antique piano, lots of rustic decorations, and matching materials and colours. It felt like another world there. Let's add a very nice receptionist, delicious food in the hotel restaurant, very friendly cats and five cheerful Saint Bernard dogs - and we have a recipe for success. We will be happy to return there.
